Have you ever been curious about Thai Massage or, as it is sometimes referred to, “Yoga for Lazy People”? Thai Massage is an ancient healing art that combines acupressure massage and yoga like postures given through constant body contact that compresses, stretches and rocks the body. Deep static and gentle rhythmic pressures are uniquely combined to activate energy lines and release tension in the body and mind.
You remain fully clothed during the treatment and no oils or lotions are used, making Thai Massage perfect for those with sensitive skins, allergies or are particularly conscious of exposing the body. The therapists use their own hands, feet and body to move you into position; the massage of the muscles is given through the rhythmic pressure and stretches applied.
Special attention may be paid to acupressure points within the hands, feet, head and back and tension is released in the joints and spine. As a yogi, you will find your therapist is able to help you move more deeply into postures that feel familiar, helping to restore a greater sense of balance and flexibility and promoting your wellness and vitality.
All members of The Radiant Hand Therapies Team are trained in Nuad Boran Northern Style of Thai Massage and work on both energetic and physical levels, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and relaxed.
